Helpful Do’s and Don’ts
While in the loan process
DO’s
- Do contact your Loan
Representative prior to any changes in your income
or employment (i.e. from salary to commission, W2 to 1099, or wage
earner
to self employment.

Do
provide all requested documents promptly
-
Do keep
documentation of any large deposits over $500 (other than payroll
deposits) made in your
bank account(s).

Do keep
copies of earnest money check and update your bank statement to reflect
the check has cleared your account.

Do
contact your Loan Representative with any questions or concerns that
arise throughout the process. Communication is the key to a
successful loan experience.
Dont’s
-
Do not
incur additional debt while your loan is in process (i.e. auto, credit
card, furniture)
-
Do not
change employers or industry in which you work without consulting your
Loan Representative.

Do not
co-sign on a loan (i.e. student loan, auto loan, cash loan) for anyone
while your loan is in process.

Do not
pack, ship, or discard any information that may be required at a later
date such as W2’s, tax returns, or divorce decree.

Do not
allow any unnecessary credit checks.

Do not
leave town for an extended amount of time without notifying your Loan
Representative.
